The evolution began when Stan started his research into the “Secrets To The Fountain of Youth.” Dying of a thirst for knowledge concerning his own health/wellness and motivated by a book by Dan Millman entitled “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior,” thousands of studies were reviewed to come to some profound conclusions documented by the scientific community. Based on this review of the literature and scientific studies completed all over the world, the concept of HUMAN ENERGY SOLUTIONS™ was born.
It has not been one static event but an evolution of discoveries of both tried and tested results along with new thinking by minds not trapped by particular thought processes. It is this “out-of-the box thinking” that has lead to the ultimate success of what HUMAN ENERGY SOLUTIONS™ provides for people intending to live a healthier and happier life.
The first major project was based on the discovery of how important polyunsaturated fats are to human health. The essential fats of omega-3 and omega-6 were discovered in 1929 by Dr. and Mrs. Burr, at the University of Minnesota. When asked to get involved in the treatment of a young lad with a severe case of eczema, they tried a vegetable oil as a method to relieve this condition. The results were amazing and they launched into an effort to determine what substances were important in resolving this matter so eloquently. Several years later, their protégé Dr. Ralph Holman, would conduct numerous studies and actually is given credit for the names that apply to these life-enhancing fatty acids.
Since 1929, numerous individuals would make far reaching conclusions concerning the importance of balancing these fats in humans and animals. Much of the early research was related to how animals could handle conditions of disease and stress related to their being developed for some type of man’s desires, like consumption, horse racing, and breeding award winning dogs. As time went on these animal studies began to be copied on humans and led to the discovery that the deficiency in of omega-3 in humans was related to over sixty disease conditions effecting humans. Since this substance is directly related to every cell created in the body, it became obvious that balancing essential fats in humans was a worthy goal and out of that OMEGASENTIALS™ was born.
